| Who is Dissolved Boy? I am he and my name is Andrew Christopher John Smith. I was born in Greater Manchester in 1981 and still live there today. I was adopted at a very young age by my parents and sister. I was also bullied throughout my school years for being “different”. I never fitted in anywhere and was very depressed for many years. In my teens I had a problem with prescription and recreational drugs. My depression got a lot worse. In my early 20’s I was then diagnosed with having a schitzo-affected disorder after hearing voices in my head. I am currently on medication to control my condition and am now a happy and healthy person. |

I have through the years always tried to express myself through poems and art and so I decided to create this website so that I can share with you some of my favourite work including, poems, drawings music video’s photographs and published/unpublished books. I want to inspire others who may be or have been through a rough time. I hope you enjoy looking, listening and reading the work I have produced and the website in general. My dream is to be recognised as a creative artist and to inspire others to express themselves creatively. |
